Resurrection Power💥

“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection.” Philippians 3:19

Once a Christian understands who they are in Christ, they have become a threat to every wicked power and principality in the Heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:10-12
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then.”

When demons realize that you are not going to falter nor run when attacked but instead dig your feet deeper into the foundation of Christ’s Word and stand, they will flee. They are going to realize that every time they weaken your body, it is strengthening your resolve. That is because you have finally understood what Paul meant when he said in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the Power of Christ can work through me.”

Jesus said He is the resurrection and the life. And His resurrection shows us that with God in us, we have already won our battles because He defeated satan the day He rose from the dead. Romans 8:37 says, we are more than conquerors through Jesus who loved us. And in 1 John 5:4, we are told that every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

Resurrection power positions us for the impossible to become the possible.

Matthew 19:26
“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Nothing could hold Jesus back, not even death, therefore we too can have the fortitude to push back every attack coming against us. Resurrection power guarantees us life in abundance even when the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10)

Because of resurrection power, we have been raised to a new life with Christ, and we are seated with Him in the Heavenly places. That sounds like an outrageous statement to make but it is the truth according to God’s Word in Ephesians 2:6. This means we have access to God’s throne room of grace and can go boldly there to receive what we need for our battles.

Hebrews 4:16
“So let us come boldly to the Throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

Colossians 3:1 tells us we have been raised to a new life with Christ, therefore we should set our sights on the realities of Heaven. Beloved, this is very powerful. We are being told these things are possible to pursue right now on Earth. The reality of Heaven is that we get to access its power and be the Body of Jesus on this Earth.

He said we will do greater things than He because He is going to the Father and sending Holy Spirit to help us. And if Holy Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in us He will also give life to our spiritual and physical bodies. And if we are His children, then we are His heirs also, sharing in His spiritual blessings, inheritances, and glory. (1 Corinthians 12:27, John 1:50, Romans 8:11, Romans 8:17)

Right now, we have a spiritual seat at the family table of God. We also have a spiritual inheritance to access His power and glory, and this is all because of the resurrection power of Christ made available to us through faith in Him. This truth must transform the way we walk out the rest of our journey. God’s power is available and working in us through His Spirit. This is how God showed His love to us, by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. (1 John 4:9)

So put on the full armor of God and stand with this marvelous truth knowing you have the resurrection power of Christ living in you. Say that out loud and own it, and when you have done all to stand, keep standing on it! It is your victory podium! Oh friends, receive Paul’s prayer today with an open heart and be complete in Him in every way.

“I pray that God will open your minds to see His truth. Then you will know the hope that He has chosen us to have. You will know that the blessings God has promised His holy people are rich and glorious. And you will know that God’s power is very great for us who believe. It is the same as the mighty power He used to raise Christ from death and put Him at His right side in the Heavenly places. He put Christ over all rulers, authorities, powers, and kings. He gave Him authority over everything that has power in this world or in the next world. God put everything under Christ’s power and made Him head over everything for the Church. The Church is Christ’s body. It is filled with Him. He makes everything complete in every way.” (Ephesians 1:18-23)
