“And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” Romans 13:11
The word salvation in this scripture is from the Greek sōtēría which means to save and rescue. It is God’s rescue which delivers Believers out of destruction and into His safety. In Psalm 107:20 we are taught that God the Father sent His Word, Jesus, and delivered mankind from all their destructions.
God said His Word is alive and active, and it does not return to Him void; it always achieves the purpose for which He sent it. The Word of God fulfills and completes itself when we speak it out. This is why we need to know His Word, declare it, and activate it with our faith. We do not manifest our faith into action with a magic potion stirred up in a caldron; we do so with our hope in the magnificent Word and in Jesus.
We need God’s Wisdom, not man’s wisdom. The world is in trouble. There is chaos and darkness everywhere and we are going to need God’s Wisdom to navigate through it. His Wisdom is a gift, and we need to ask Him to impart it on us. We are told in James 1:5 that God will give generously to all who ask Him for Wisdom. It will help us to make Godly decisions and act swiftly in dangerous situations. God knows the plans He has for us. He has written a Book for every one of us. He wants us to succeed and follow His best plan for our lives.
I believe we are entering a time where God is calling us to a higher level in prayer. Our intercession is imperative now more than ever, and we need to hear from God every day. I believe He wants us praying from a higher place in the spirit. We need to get caught up in Him to hear His directives in these last days. We have now entered an end-time spiritual battle with the wicked forces of the air; therefore, we need to be spiritually equipped and able to discern God’s Voice over demonic whispers, fear, and opinions. To know God’s Voice, we must know His Word, and speak it out with boldness over the wickedness in the world. We need to restrain the evil plans of the enemy, hold back the gates of Hell, and preach the Good News of Jesus with miracles, signs and wonders following.
Church, we can no longer be ignorant of the enemy’s devices! Make sure you go to God with a pure heart and allow Him to prune you from all wrong thinking and unrighteousness. You cannot have anything in you that can hinder your discernment of His Voice. You need to be battle ready right now. It is time. Do not take my word for it, though—just read His!

God’s Wisdom
Yet I do proclaim a message of wisdom to those who are spiritually mature. But it is not the wisdom that belongs to this world or to the powers that rule this world—powers that are losing their power. The wisdom I proclaim is God’s secret wisdom, which is hidden from human beings, but which He had already chosen for our glory even before the world was made. None of the rulers of this world knew this wisdom. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as the scripture says, “What no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love Him.” But it was to us that God made known His secret by means of His Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, even the hidden depths of God’s purposes. It is only our own spirit within us that knows all about us; in the same way, only God’s Spirit knows all about God. We have not received this world’s spirit; instead, we have received the Spirit sent by God, so that we may know all that God has given us. So then, we do not speak in words taught by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, as we explain spiritual truths to those who have the Spirit. Whoever does not have the Spirit cannot receive the gifts that come from God’s Spirit. Such a person really does not understand them, and they seem to be nonsense, because their value can be judged only on a spiritual basis. Whoever has the Spirit, however, is able to judge the value of everything, but no one is able to judge him. As the scripture says, “Who knows the mind of the Lord? Who is able to give him advice?” We, however, have the mind of Christ.”
