Back to School Swap & Shop Supply Drive
The Back to School Drive offers school uniforms, supplies, and accessories to area children in need. In August, the program focuses on uniform swaps, while uniform appointments are available year-round from January 1st to December 31st. To qualify, families must provide proper verification of income, their child’s birth certificate, and proof of permanent residency (such as a lease agreement or proof of ownership). Each child in the household is eligible for up to two school uniforms, with some families receiving up to 15 uniforms, along with multiple book-bags and numerous accessories in a single day.

During August, we request that families bring in their used uniforms from the previous school year. In return, each child receives a new or gently used uniform in their current size.

“I want to tell you how impressed I was with how God is working through Acts 4 and how it continues to evolve. When I came in a couple weeks ago to help with the back to school uniforms sale I was truly encouraged by God’s goodness and this wonderful outreach that you are serving in. I pray for the Waterbury children as they prepare for another school year that they have been touched and blessed by this ministry.”
