“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” Jeremiah 31:3
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
The Father loves you so intensely that He allowed His own Son to die in your place before you ever repented. Romans 5:8 tells us that God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. He was willing to pay the highest price in the Universe to redeem you—the Blood of His dear Son.
If you belong to Jesus, you have a brand new, sparkling-clean life in Him. If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; their old life has passed away and all things have become new; and the Father considers you His very own precious child and has planned a magnificent, never-ending future for you. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you belong to God, and when you cling to Him, no one can take that from you. His Word overwhelmingly confirms that you are His cherished treasure, and He has given you a high calling as an ambassador to share His great love with others.
It is imperative to understand how valuable you are to God! No price is too high to pay for something that truly brings you joy and the immense satisfaction you derive from sharing your joy with others makes it even more valuable. Therefore, when something is precious to you, you will guard it more closely to ensure that it is not damaged or stolen. God values and treasures you in just the same way. Jesus paid a great price for you!
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. God’s Son, Jesus, paid the price for our sins and made us free. Yes, God has forgiven us. Jesus said, “Father! You have given them to me, and I want them to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, the glory you gave me; for you loved me before the world was made. Righteous Father! The world does not know you, but I know you, and these know that you sent me. I made you have known to them, and I will continue to do so, in order that the love you have for Me may be in them, and so that I also may be in them.” (John 3:16, Colossians 1:14, John 17:24-26)
Beloved, your life is valuable to God and has an eternal purpose. You may get shut down, but do not allow that to bring you down. My dearest friend and Executive Director of Acts 4, Sarah Elizabeth, heard a word from the Lord for me years ago that speaks so powerfully about our eternal value and self-worth to God. She heard, “Fellow traveler homeward bound, grieve not for I AM with you. Your words are precious shavings of gold in My Kingdom streets.”
The Lord wants you to know that you matter! And even though you may feel unimportant, unseen, unheard and unworthy; His thoughts towards you are magnificent! Although what you have to say may fall flat and be as dust to the ears of this Earthly realm; they are going to be used to pave the streets of gold in Heaven. God treasures our worth and our testimonies!
Praise God!
Keep speaking your testimony, it has an eternal purpose!
