Ministries
Sharing God’s love while providing for those in need is the mission on which Acts 4 Ministry was founded upon in 2002. As strong believers in the work God has called us to do, our team operates in Acts 4:32, fusing prayer, faith, and firm commitment to serve those in need.
Local Church Support
Do you attend a local church and are looking for ways we can partner with and support you? Acts 4 Ministry is designed to be the ‘arms and legs of the body of Christ’, reaching out to the community that surrounds us. Many of our supporting churches utilize our services as an opportunity for members to provide financially to missions, grow spiritually through volunteerism and service, and host drives for resources needed by the community.
We had a great time on Saturday—well organized. Glad we had a lot of new people go with us. Thanks for praying for us! – Pastor Bryan Sims, Christ The Redeemer Southbury
Bibles, Prayer & Other Literature
Bibles and spiritual literature are available to our clients for free. We provide each family whose home we visit with a Bible and a short devotional, and we love to pray with and for our clients and our ministry. We also supply information about different food banks and services provided around the Greater Waterbury area, including information about local food banks, Shoe Box Ministry, health clinics, homeless shelters, rehabs, soup kitchens, disaster relief agencies, and refugee resettlement programs.
International Support
Though we have much need in our region, Acts 4 Ministry recognizes the suffering around the world and seeks to alleviate it by continuing the commitment to international missions and assisting the following programs with articles of clothing or volunteer support.
- Nicaragua Missions Trip
- Agape Ministries
- Harvest Pack
“Today was really wonderful. Our deliveries went so well and it was such a blessing to be a part of it all. How awesome to see the body of Christ at work. Thank you for all you do to make an impact in this community!”
