“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6

God recently gave me an impression of a walking path going around a mountain. I asked Him what it meant, and He said it was a picture of what our battles look like from Heaven’s view. He brought me above the mountain to a higher view where He has called us to sit in heavenly places with Him. It was from that position I could see the path around the mountain kept moving upward with each completed circle.

You are going to engage in certain physical and spiritual battles that seem like you are moving in circles going nowhere fast, but sometimes Jesus wants you going somewhere slow. Why? Because it teaches you to be still in your heart and trust His leading with every step you take. In that steady upward climb you will find something powerful in yourself that you never knew existed — willpower to follow His Will.

Although some battles are going to take longer to win, they will teach you about endurance and faith in your mighty God when you invite Him to join you on the journey.

Philippines 2:13
For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Romans 5:4
And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

You will find the inner strength you need to press into your faith which will bring you to a higher place of understanding in Jesus to be fully equipped in helping others walk up the same mountain.

2 Corinthians 1:4
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

 Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Follower of Jesus, He is calling you into a deeper spiritual awakening this season. This is not some new-age rhetoric, but a call for you to surrender your struggles to Him and align your life to His divine plan.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I AM gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

2 Peter 1:3
By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.

You are His ambassador. He wants you to go out and represent Him using your mountain-experiences that have strengthened your resolve to push through and keep moving upward.

2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Your testimony will encourage other people going through similar battles. He is leading you to a richer understanding of your faith and identity in Him. Knowing who you are and whose you are will turn on that God-light within your spirit leading people out of the darkness of bondage and fear into a place of freedom. It is a marvelous feeling to live free in that Light!

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous Light.

ABOUT MARIE SCINTO

Marie Scinto

“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
