“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” 2 Peter 3:8
God showed me how our understanding of time in this realm is like living in a box. We live in a world that is confined by time and say things like, “Timing is everything.” But God is telling us He is outside of time, and a thousand years on Earth is only like a day in Heaven. He told us what is impossible with man, is possible with Him.
Luke 18:27
And He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
So, when you are praying for something that has to do with timing, do not pray from within a box! Bring it up to Him, the One who can rearrange circumstances so they will not affect you! He can change weather patterns, doctor’s reports, and destinies!
He wants us living outside of the box approaching all things from an eternal perspective. We will see our time sensitive prayers fulfilled when we pray outside our understanding and go to the God of the impossible whose ways are higher. We can know the mind of Christ and pray from that position. Those incomprehensible things can be understood in us for those who are in Christ because we are spiritually seated with Him right now in the heavenly places.
Isaiah 55:8-10
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
1 Corinthians 2:16
For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.
Ephesians 2:6
And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Beloved, that is the exact place we need to be, as it is outside the box! It is that eternal perspective mindset we need to see the impossible become the possible. We can understand this, we can walk in it, we can get prayers answered, and we can change things within any time frame with God!
Father God,
I bring up my prayer requests to You now. The things that are bound by time, I hand over to You. I breakthrough this barrier called ‘time’ right now. I see myself sitting in the heavenly places with Jesus. I go beyond the impossible to the possible with You. I know You are rearranging circumstances so they will not affect me. I take my authority and receive my inheritance as a child of the most High God and believe. I will not waver. I will not doubt. Be glorified, oh God, in the breaking down of every stronghold and every barrier boxing me in today. I declare this all in the wonderful Name of Jesus and through the mighty power of Holy Spirt. Amen and Amen!
A Word given to me by God in 3/7/19:
I decree that My worship will rise among the nations like cymbals crashing with the sound of your voices in a thunderous applause lifting up My Son amongst them all. Over every god. Over every idol. Make the decree, sound the trumpet, shout it on the mountain tops that Jesus is Lord! Decree. Decree. Decree. From the west to the east, across the land, join in with the Angel’s choir. I inhabit the praises of My people. My Angels hearken to My Voice. Who shall you serve this day? Man or God? Nations, nations, nations rise! Set your hearts on Me. Your hearts are your clock. Your hearts are your alarm. It is time to wake up O Sleeper! Your heart-clock is ticking. Set the timer and awake! Decree and declare! Make Me your alarm! Let Me wake you up. Set your hearts on Me. Set your heart-clocks on Me. I AM the Hour! This is the hour. The hour is here. Set your clock on Me. I alone know the time and the day and the hour. Set it on Me!!
