“You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness You follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With Your hand of love upon my life, You impart a blessing to me. This is just too wonderful, deep, and
incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength.” Psalm 139:5-6
Beloved, rest in knowing that Jesus is in your future waiting for you. He knows the end from the beginning and has planned out a victorious life for you. Before He ever spoke creation into existence, He saw all the wrong choices and failures and made provision for them all! All the obstacles and setbacks that will ever get in your way — whether you caused them, or they came at you by happenstance — He provided a Way to give you peace during your storms.
I don’t want to live my life in the Father’s permissive Will. Quite frankly, that scares me! I want to live in His good and perfect Will. Remember friends, He permits you to go your own way. He allows you to make your own choices in life, even if they aren’t what He’s chosen for you. Yet, He also has given you all the tools you’ll need to make the correct choices and know which direction is His very best for your life.
Did you know that God permits U-turns? If you find yourself off course and realize you went too far in His permissive Will, He’ll allow you to make a U-turn and get yourself back on the right road. When you need guidance, you can rest in your faith that God wants to provide for all your needs through Christ Jesus.
We’re promised that His rest is still available to those that believe. Woefully, those who walk in unbelief can’t receive what the Father is offering. Their unbelief breeds fear which blocks their sight from receiving His blessings. If you walk in fear, you make that your Master and become a slave to it. You live under fear’s grip and are bound to its rules. Fear isn’t of God, it’s of your enemy, the devil. But God’s perfect love casts out all fear. The Father’s Love breeds joy, peace and hope and He gives us victory over fear!
Jesus warned us that we’re going to have trouble in this world, and He was right! He also promised to give us rest during it and He will do that as well! But you have to go to Him by faith in order to get it.
Read these encouraging scriptures. I pray they increase your faith in these troubling times we are in:
“My child, I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. I decree that My purpose will stand, and I will fulfill My every plan. For I AM the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. Remember that no temptation can overtake you except what is common to mankind. And I AM faithful; I will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, I will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. For My divine power has given you everything you need for life and godliness. Through these precious and magnificent promises you have become partakers in My divine nature and you now have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. What, then, shall you say in response to these things? If I AM for you, who can be against you? I give you the victory. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to Me. And My peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds. Do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what My will is—My good, pleasing and perfect will. And know that all things work together for good for those who love Me, who are called according to My purpose. I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Trust in Me with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge Me and I will direct your paths and make them straight. I will meet all your needs according to the riches of My Glory. Come all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Therefore, since the promise of entering My rest still stands, be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For those who have, were unable to enter because of unbelief. My child, there is no fear in love. My perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love, but you are more than a conqueror in Me. I have told you these things, so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
