“For the Messiah has come to preach this sweet message of peace to you, to the ones who were distant, and to those who are near.” Ephesians 2:17

Jesus stepped down from His throne to be birthed through a woman so that He could identify with us. He had an earthly mother so that we could have a Heavenly Father. He endured a physical birth so that we could have a spiritual one. It began in a wooden feeding trough and ended on a wooden Cross. God hid His greatest treasure in undignified pieces of wood. Although man crucified this treasure, because He died, we can now live. The beginning of a desperate situation does not reveal how it will end.

I went to bed asking God to inspire me with a message of hope for this month’s blog. I woke myself up the next morning saying, “Sweet Jesus, Sweet Jesus.” I then saw a vision of a bright yellow swirling ball of light in the shape of a Christmas ornament. It looked like a close-up image of the sun’s solar flares. The color yellow represents mind, hope and a gift from God. The Father has given us the greatest gift of all, His one and only son, Jesus!

The Lord is moving and is about to pour Himself out this season on all who will receive His gift. The power that burned away all of the dross on the Cross is in every Believer. We now have the mind of Christ to instruct and guide us!

Oh, what a gift He has given you to display in your life as a symbol of hope for a despondent world!

Father God, we thank You for our sweet, sweet Jesus! What an amazing gift of eternal peace, may we never return or exchange it. May we daily display it, wear it, listen to it, eat it, drink it, spend it on others, share it with the world and live it out until His return. Oh God, reveal Jesus to us in all His splendor this Christmas season!

This is what the Lord is saying to you right now:

“In these last days, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. My Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as I raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord so as to instruct Him? But you have the mind of Christ to be guided by His thoughts and purposes. Your lives light up the world. Let others see your light from a distance, for how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to Me, your Father in Heaven. Nothing brings the soul such sweetness as seeking My Living Words.” (Acts 2:17, Romans 6:10-11, 1 Corinthians 2:16, Matthew 5:14-16, Psalm 19:10)

ABOUT Marie Scinto

“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
