“When you call to Me, I will answer you.” Psalm 91:15
When we move our hearts closer to God, He will come even closer to us. His Word tells us that we love, because He first loved us. If left to us, nobody would choose to love God or overcome rebellion. Romans 8:7-8 says that our minds are set on things that are hostile towards God. Man’s love is filled with lust, pride and iniquity but God’s love is pure and selfless.
If you want to experience this God kind-of-love, you must draw near to Him and learn from Him. That comes first by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then, the Father will send His Spirit who will teach you all things and inspire you to remember every Word. (John 14:26)
Jesus said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.” (John 6:44)
That is how much you are loved by the Father! He is making this easy for you. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for you. In Matthew 27:50-51, we are told how Jesus passionately cried out on the Cross, took His last breath, and gave up His Spirit. At that moment, the veil in the Holy of Holies was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth shook violently, and rocks were split apart.
Beloved, that was the moment Love was set free! Now, any child of God can freely and boldly go to where Love is enthroned, receive Mercy’s kiss, and discover His Grace. (Hebrews 4:16)
Our loving Father also promised to take our rebellious-heart and give us a tender-heart that is willing to comply with His Holy Will. This is a promise of His Grace: to enable us to answer His Call.
“I will give you a new heart and a new mind. I will take away your stubborn heart of stone and give you an obedient heart.” Ezekiel 36:26
God is calling out to you right now. If you pause for just a moment, you will hear Him. He has left you a message of hope and encouragement. Sin stole you away, but God wants you back. Jesus is calling, and this is what He has declared:
“The Lord God has put His Spirit in Me, because the Lord has appointed Me to tell the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to comfort those whose hearts are broken, to tell the captives they are free, and to tell the prisoners they are released.” (Isaiah 61:1)
Friends, God has left you a message, return His call today:
This is what the Lord says, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me. When you call out to Me, I will answer you; I will be with you in trouble. I will deliver and honor you. Now that you have heard these things; will you not acknowledge it? From now on I will tell you of new things, hidden things unknown to you. Seek Me while I may be found; call on Me while I AM near. Let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts; let him return to Me, that I may have compassion, and I will freely pardon. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Behold, I AM the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me? I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by Name. From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. When you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me; and when you come to Me, I will give you rest for your souls.”
(Jeremiah 33:3, Psalm 50:15, Psalm 91:15, Isaiah 48:6, Isaiah 55:6, Isaiah 55:7, Jeremiah 23:35, Jeremiah 29:12, Jeremiah 32:27, Isaiah 45:3, Isaiah 48:6, Jeremiah 29:13, Matthew 11:28-29)

“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
