“Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:7
Oh, how He loves you Beloved! In fact, the Father loves you the same way He loves Jesus. Yes, that much! Jesus prayed, “May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that You sent Me and that You love them as much as You love Me.” John 17:23
When Jesus entered into our world, He was showing us the exact representation of the Father’s Being. Jesus, who is God in the flesh, showed us His love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. This is why it’s essential to know Jesus because when you’ve seen Him, you’ve seen the Father (John 14:9).
“The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and He sustains everything by the mighty power of His command.” Hebrews 1:3
For someone who doesn’t know the Father, it’s very hard to receive His love because they don’t believe He has any to give. Friend, He has plenty, He invented it, because God is love. 1 John 4 teaches us all about the love of the Father. It says all who live in love, live in God and He lives in them. It tells us that such love has no fear, because perfect love casts out all fear. If we’re afraid, it’s for fear of punishment, and this shows that we haven’t fully experienced His perfect love. The Father showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
What the world needs now is the Father’s love to flow through those that have received Him and are called His children. Romans 5:5 says that God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. His love will never disappoint, delude or shame us because there’s no condemnation for those who receive and believe in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). The Father’s love is always patient and kind and is never jealous, boastful, proud or rude. His love keeps no record of being wronged and He doesn’t rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. The Father’s love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance (1 Corinthians 13).
If you want to partake in this divine nature of God, confess your sins to Him and renounce your wicked ways. You then can ask Him to send Jesus and His Spirit into your heart.
We are told in 2 Peter 1 that the Father has given us everything we need for living a godly life through His divine power. You can receive all of this now by coming to know Him through Jesus. He has given us His great and precious promises that enable you to share in His divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
Oh, Beloved friends! How beautiful is this wonderful message from the Gospel which means good news? And indeed, it is! We have a creator God who is always watching out for us and wanting us to draw near and call Him, Abba Father (Romans 8:15). He promised us in His Word that He will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go and counsel us with His loving eye upon us. He said He will watch over our coming and going both now and forevermore (Psalm 32:8, Psalm 121:8).
This surely is something to give thanks for throughout this Holiday season! Happy Thanksgiving to all my Poiema friends! I love you.
“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15/23

“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
