“And now He can help those who are tempted, because He Himself was tempted and suffered.”
Hebrews 2:18

Friends, we can talk to Jesus about our problems. He’s listening. He understands every weakness of ours because He was tempted in every way yet never gave into sin. Whenever you’re in need, you should go bravely before the Throne of our merciful God where you’ll be treated with undeserved kindness and find the help you need. He’ll enable you with a supernatural patience to endure temptations and strengthen you with a steadfastness to overpower the challenges of life. Patience is a virtue, it’s a gracious act. If you’re tempted to give into the devil’s snares, remember that you have a foundation of scriptures you can stand on firmly. God is faithful and won’t allow you to be tempted beyond what you’re able, but He’ll provide the way of escape giving you the ability to endure while you stand it out.

Beloved, understand this please - supernatural patience is a Fruit of the Spirit available to all Believers. This means the enemy doesn’t have the same level of it as a child of God. Therefore, patience is a weapon to use when you are being tempted to sin. It’s provided to you by your Heavenly Father so you can stand firm until you win. When you submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee!

It’s not a sin to be tempted as Jesus was also tempted but overcame. Therefore, we can now overcome temptation and sin because of His victory. He remained sinless so He could be the perfect sacrifice for our sins and destroy the works of the devil. When we accept Him as our Lord and Savior our spiritual bodies are made perfect in Him, and we’re considered righteous in the Father's sight. Unfortunately, our physical bodies are still living in a world of deception and wickedness. This means we’re responsible for the choices we make every day and to escape the temptations that lead to sin, we need Jesus - there’s no other way out.

Scripture warns us that a time will come, and is already here, when people will not put up with Godly teachings. Instead, to suit their own desires and lusts, they will gather around them a great number of leaders to say what they want to hear. They will pick and choose what they think sounds right but don't know the whole story; for there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death (Proverbs 16:25). But there is the Good News! You can know the whole story and save yourself from destruction. Everything you need for life and godliness is in God’s Word. Don't forget that God offers us Grace and a way out of our temptation and sinful acts. Pray for discernment and humbly accept the Word that God has planted in you today. Take time to meditate on these scriptures below and become fully convinced that the day of your salvation has come through Jesus, the Messiah.

2 Corinthians 6:2
For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the right time is now. Today is the day of salvation (welfare, prosperity, deliverance, preservation, safety).

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

1 John 3:8
But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

Hebrews 4:15-16
Jesus understands our weaknesses, for He faced all the same testing’s we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the Throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

2 Peter 1:3-4
His Divine Power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the Divine Nature now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

James 4:7-10
So, humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up in honor.

John 8:35-36
When you sin, you are not free. You've become a slave in bondage to your sin. And slaves have no permanent standing in a family, like a son does, for a son is a part of the family forever. So, if the Son sets you free from sin, then become a true son and be unquestionably free!

ABOUT Marie Scinto
Marie Scinto "You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
