“May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
A few months ago, my eyes kept being drawn all day towards pink roses. It was as if someone was purposely laying them out in front of me on a platter. It started with a beautiful sea of pink from a rose garden along a walking path and ended with a pink rose laid out on a dinner plate that evening.
It all made sense the following day after I received a prophetic Word. Someone who was praying for me told me she saw a rose garden full of roses that the Lord had left for me. She said these roses symbolized the desires and hopes that God put within my heart, and that He was stirring them up within me.
Pink roses symbolize love and gratitude. We are told that when we seek out the Love of the Father and delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart. (Psalm 37:4)
He wants our desires and hopes to come from Him because His Treasures are limitless. We are told not to worry about our needs in life but to seek first God’s Kingdom and Righteousness, and when we do, all those needs will be met. (Matthew 6)
God is your Creator, but He wants to be known as your Father. When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior we have been adopted into His Family. We are told that once we become His true children, we qualify to share all His treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God Himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is and all that He has. (Romans 8:17)
Beloved, God loves you and has a plan and purpose for your life. If you do not know what it is, I encourage you to stop and smell the roses. He has a rose garden planted just for you. Your map to this place lies within His Word. Open it today and ask Holy Spirit to guide you along the path that you should go to find your very own secret garden.
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the Hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great Power for us who believe.” (Ephesians 1:15-23)
“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
