"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”Â
 — Isaiah 55:8-9
It’s time for us to level up by stepping into obedience, trust, and the joy of the Lord. Have you ever found yourself trying to make sense of a situation and feeling completely overwhelmed? It’s easy to default to our own understanding, but we need to be purposeful in learning how to operate from a higher perspective in Christ. It’s time to level up. When we can’t see the full picture, God isn't asking us to figure it out. He’s asking us to trust His voice and follow His instructions — an invitation to experience the fullness of the life He has intended for us. True obedience to God isn’t motivated by a fear of punishment or a desire to perform; it’s motivated by love.
“As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love. If you keep My commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love. I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” — John 15:9-11
When we choose to obey, we aren't pulling away from freedom; we’re pressing into intimacy and oneness with Heaven’s plans and purposes. Obedience sweeps away the clutter in our hearts, so we are free to experience a conversation with our Father without feeling ashamed.
“Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we keep His commands and do what pleases Him.” — 1 John 3:21-22
Leveling up means we need to be constantly ready to face everyday challenges that test our trust. When the path looks daunting, fear and anxiety will try to creep in and rob us of our faith. We’re instructed in God’s Word to shift our focus from our problems to His promises because, when we do, our perspective drastically changes and we exchange our anxiety for peace.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6-7
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.” — Isaiah 26:3-4
To follow God completely, we must cultivate a healthy, spiritual fear of the Lord. This discipline was never meant to be terrifying. It’s not about a scary, looming judgment, but a deep, beautiful reverence and submission to our loving Father. As obedient children, we’re called to step out of our past ignorance and tune our ears to Heaven’s frequency. We can hear His voice. He’s speaking to us. Oh, if we’d only listen!
“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.”  —1 Peter 1:14
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27
We’re living in a time in history where the Father is weaving everything together for the ultimate good of His children—not just for our earthly comfort, but to conform us to the image of Jesus. There’s a call over our lives to be a generation completely transformed, leveled up, and walking as the active Body of Christ on this earth. The Word that goes out of the Father’s mouth will never return to Him void; and if we speak His Word into our lives, then those decrees that we declare, according to His Will, shall be done for us too.
“So is My Word that goes out from My mouth. It will not return to Me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” —Isaiah 55:11
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.” —1 John 5:14
God is your Father, your Savior, and your comforter and friend — He’s your peace. Even when your journey takes you through valleys of deep darkness, fear can’t conquer you. His Word is reliable and trustworthy. It’s your safe space in the valley of darkness. Following Him in obedience will help you level up. A wonderful way to walk this journey is by coupling an inward connection with God—through daily prayer, meditating on scripture, and aligning your heart with His truth—with outward acts of devotion, such as giving, serving others, and honoring Him in all you do.
“Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might.” — 2 Samuel 6:14
So, dance like David danced with all your might — our God is mighty and worthy of our extravagant praise!

ABOUT MARIE SCINTO

"You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
