“I AM the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
When light enters a diamond, it reflects off its many facets and exits through the top creating brilliance and sparkle. The Father’s love works the same way through His children. He is the light, and we are the gemstones. When He pours Himself out to His children through Jesus, we carry that glory and reflect His light upon this dark world guiding the way to salvation through Him. We are His glory carriers and image-bearers. We need to know His heart, reflect His light, and become like Him.
Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.
As children of God, we will face continual conflicts between good and evil. He is bringing what once was in the dark into the light. Nothing will be hidden from us now. We must stand on our faith in prayer and never stop interceding for the Church, our nations, and families.
Jesus wants us praying with expectancy and boldness. He wants to make known to us what is yet to come and that He is with us. He is reminding us that faith means to obey His Words. He wants us going deeper with Him to see what assignments He has for us in these last days. His command for His Church is to do what He says and keep moving. We are in a season of change and His plans and purposes will be established.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.
We need to start looking at what is happening around the world from a biblical perspective and from Heaven’s view. We must be watchman and learn how to maneuver around the chaos and walk through it without fear. The closer we get to Him, the more intense the light will shine revealing the truth.
1 John 1:5
When light shines in a dark place, the darkness is destroyed. God is light and there is no darkness in Him.
Satan hates us and wants us living in his lies and darkness. God loves us and wants us living in His truth and light. He is a good Father who knows everything about everything. If we know the heart of our Creator, we will understand His ways.
1 Corinthians 2: 9-16
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For whom among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man judges all things, but he himself is not subject to anyone’s judgment. For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Friends, the Father’s love is not complicated, and you do not need a degree in theology to understand His Will for your life. You just need Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Bible and an unquenchable desire to know Him. This world does not need more religion; it needs more Jesus. And once you find Him you should want more, never being satisfied with enough. Continually posture yourself to intentionally draw nearer to God and be aware that with each new understanding comes an unveiling of a deeper intimacy with Him and then, get ready to sparkle!

ABOUT MARIE SCINTO
“You are God’s girl and He loves you! You sprinkle His seeds of love wherever you go!” Those words were spoken to me by my husband Joe many years ago. They came at a time when I was questioning my self-worth in God’s Kingdom, purposes, and plans. The Father made sure that in my darkest spiritual hour, I heard His Truth about my identity and self-worth. It has been my passion ever since to deliver that same message to any who may need to hear it. It is not about who we are, but Whose we are, and I am God’s girl!
