Appointment Policy
Helping us serve you and others with the time and dignity you deserve.
We are committed to serving as many people as possible and making sure everyone has a fair opportunity to receive the basic-needs items and support they need. Thank you for respecting your appointment, our staff and volunteers, and the other people in our community who are waiting for assistance.
Arrive on Time
Please plan to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late, may be considered a no-show.
Need to Cancel?
Please call at least 24 hours in advance. If no one answers, leave a voicemail. Your voicemail counts as notice.
Missed Your Appointment?
If you miss your appointment or arrive more than 15 minutes late, please contact us to determine whether another appointment can be scheduled.
Because appointment times are limited, your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. When an appointment is missed or significantly delayed without notice, that time cannot easily be offered to someone else who may urgently need assistance.
Please Arrive on Time
Please plan to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be considered a no-show and we may not be able to serve you that day. This is because appointments are scheduled throughout the day, and serving someone who arrives late can delay or take time away from the next person who is waiting.
Arriving several hours after your scheduled appointment does not mean you can still be seen. If you miss your scheduled appointment time, you will need to contact us to determine whether another appointment can be scheduled.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen. If something prevents you from arriving on time, please call us as soon as possible and leave a message if no one is available to answer.
Please Cancel or Reschedule in Advance
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please call us and leave a message at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Providing 24 hours' notice allows us the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another person in need.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call even if you are unable to speak with someone directly. Leaving a voicemail is considered notice.
What Happens If You Miss an Appointment?
If you do not attend your appointment, arrive more than 15 minutes late, or do not provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling, it may be considered a no-show.
Repeated no-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations without proper notice may result in a temporary pause in scheduling future appointments. This policy helps us make the best use of our limited appointment times and ensures that we can serve as many people as possible.
Why This Policy Matters
Your appointment time represents an opportunity for someone to receive essential items they may need. When an appointment is missed or significantly delayed without notice, someone else who could have used that time may lose their opportunity to receive assistance.
By arriving for your appointment, contacting us when circumstances change, and respecting your scheduled time, we can work together to make sure our limited resources reach as many people as possible.
Thank You for Helping Us Serve Our Community
